Background

Wendy joined the Firm in 1980 – initially as an Accounts Junior. She then moved into Fee-earning work, whilst studying and qualifying as a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives in November 1990. After a period of dealing with Claimant Personal Injury work, she became the Firm's first Practice Manager in April 2004.

Expertise

Wendy works closely with the Firm's Chief Executive, Paul Saunders, providing general management support to the Firm; having responsibility for all HR and Personnel functions and ensuring compliance with the Firm's Lexcel management standard.

To support this role, she has obtained a Credit pass Level 3 Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety (NEBOSH National General Certificate) and a Distinction pass CIPD Certificate in Personnel Practice.

Personal

Wendy is Coventry born and bred and is married with two children.   She spends her time out of the office supporting her Husband's and children's hobbies as the perfect excuse not to find time to ‘go to the gym'.
