Background

Sushma began her legal carer in 1997 as a secretary for one of the oldest firms in the City, Browetts. Within a year, she was appointed a fee earner in the firm's Conveyancing & Private Client department at which time she also started her ILEX qualification. Sushma remained at Browetts until 2002. In search of a new challenge, she moved to the Firm's Private Client department before a brief period in Hereford. Unable to find a position similar to that she had left at the Firm, she returned to the Midlands in 2005 and worked at Wright Hassall in Leamington Spa before finally returning to the Firm's Private Client Department in August 2006.   Sushma successfully completed her ILEX qualifications last year.

Expertise

Sushma specialises in Private Client work and deals with wills, administration of estates, Inheritance Tax planning, Deeds of Variation, Enduring & General Powers of Attorney and Declarations of Trust. Sushma also has experience in dealing with Receivership applications.

Personal

Sushma's personal interests include cooking, travel, music, wine and thinking about going to the gym!
