Background

Sarah joined HM Land Registry in 1987 as an Administrative Officer in the Legal Department and worked her way through all aspects of Land registration to finish as an Executive Registration Officer in 2003.  In March 2003, Sarah joined Keynote Housing Group, which included Touchstone Housing Association, Midland Area Housing Association and Cygnet property management, in their Legal Admin team.

Expertise

During her (nearly) 6years with Keynote (now Midland Heart Limited), Sarah developed her knowledge about Housing Associations and Industrial and Provident Societies; including the way they operate, the governance, regulation and dealing with property acquisitions and disposals.  She also gained a good knowledge of Data Protection issues and qualified as an internal Assessor for Investors in People.

Personal

Sarah is married with two boys.  Living in a male-orientated household has led Sarah to develop an interest in football, rugby and Gaelic football – so when not stood in a muddy field on a Sunday afternoon, Sarah is either in the armchair or nearest pub, watching it!  Any other spare time is spent walking her German Shepherd dog, reading, listening to music or watching TV.
