Background

Qualifying in 1971 and a Partner since 1973, Philip has been involved in and seen the firm grow to become one of the largest firms in the City with national and internationally based clients.

Expertise

Having professional experience ranging through advocacy, litigation, licensing, both commercial and residential property work, company work, probate and trust work, in recent times Philip has concentrated on working for Housing Associations, primarily on site acquisition/development and funding work and for long standing private clients.

Philip has for the past 9 years concentrated on working for a number of Housing Associations, primarily on site acquisition/development work concerning both urban and rural sites acquired variously from private landowner, builders/developers and Local Authority involving all aspects of work related thereto including Section 106 Agreements, Section 278 and 38 Highways Act Agreements and Warranties and also upon funding work particularly in the placing in charge of large portfolios of properties with such as THFC/THFC(Indexed)Limited, Barclays, Bank of Scotland and Lloyds TSB.

Personal

Married with two children presently occupying much of his time energy and financial resources away from work, Philip finds relaxation in the pleasures of the theatre, music and cinema, is a keen follower of sport, particularly Warwickshire County Cricket and Coventry Rugby Club , is an occasional player of tennis and supports the Coventry Watch Museum Project having the objective of establishing a working museum in celebration of the Coventry Watch Making Industry.
