2009 Alan Newsome Prize Winner

Each year Newsome Vaughan sponsors the Alan Newsome Prizes, awarded to law students from Coventry University. The prizes are an award of £500 and the offer of two weeks work experience within the firm. It is the Programme Assessment Board at Coventry University, made up of Law staff and external examiners for undergraduate law, which makes the decision as to who should win. The Board considers the results of all the undergraduate law students and will award the prize to the ‘Most Promising Final Year Student'.

In 2009 the prize was awarded to students, Laura Brawn and Liz Fletcher. Laura was awarded £500 prize money and Liz has completed two weeks work experience with the Firm, spending time in several departments.
