Background

Lucie is in her second spell at the Firm, having first worked at the firm during her LLB Sandwich Law degree placement year. Following conclusion of her studies at Nottingham Law school she returned to the Firm to complete her training contract. She qualified as a solicitor in 2001 and joined the Commercial Property team. Lucie was promoted in 2006 to the position of Associate Solicitor.

Expertise

Lucie specialises in Commercial Property law and her main areas of practise are:

  • Commercial Landlord and Tenant – acting for Landlord or Tenant
  • Sales and Purchases including purchases of fully let investment properties and mixed residential/commercial properties
  • Licensed Premises and Licensing Law
  • Commercial Property finance.

The files dealt with by Lucie include the full range of commercial properties such as warehousing, offices, shops and pubs and restaurants. She acts for both small local businesses and large nation and international organisations.   She also has experience in small business sales, residential property and will drafting.

Personal

Lucie is a Coventry resident and has been known to enjoy the odd night out in her local pub in Earlsdon. She also likes to keep fit and managed to struggle over the line in two of Cancer Research UK's “Race for Life” events last year. Her specialist sport, however, is armchair viewing of cricket, football and rugby. It has never been proved that she was seen crawling out of a tent at this year's Isle of Wight festival in a pair of pink wellies.
