Background
The son of expatriates David was born in Zimbabwe and educated there up to ‘A' level. He attended Rhodes University in Grahamstown, South Africa where he did his first degree majoring in both Classical Civilisation and Legal Theory before going on and completing the post-graduate LLB degree. David subsequently returned to Zimbabwe where he trained and qualified before realising that it was too hot and he heeded the call of his ancestors, returning to England in 1999.
Expertise
David has worked in private practice in the City as well as serving his time working as in-house legal counsel for two large American corporations and in local government. It is this wide ranging experience that helps him to tackle commercial matters from different angles with empathy.
David deals with:
- General advice as to company law.
- Advice, negotiation and drafting of commercial and corporate documentation.
- Formation of all types of companies.
- Maintenance of all company secretarial duties inclusive of minutes, resolutions, statutory filings and liaising with Companies House.
Personal
David is an anorak when it comes to cricket and football and despite his tender years is an ardent supporter of real ale.
